Community College ’s Animal Management Associates of Applied Science
(A.A.S.) Degree Program provides students with the basic skills, experience
and knowledge required for a career as a progressive zoo keeper in zoological
parks. The program can also be of value to students entering other animal
fields or wishing to continue their studies. Students gain a unique mix
of academic and hands-on training at Syracuse’s accredited Rosamond
Gifford Zoo (AZA), Watertown's New York State Zoo and other zoos of New
York State and Southern Ontario. JCC’s Animal Management Program
is a Conservation Partner of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums
